The force behind every successfully student is an ocean of knowledge usually to be found in a good library. A well stocked library in a separate building is a special feature of this college. The college has always taken care of and put in laborious efforts to enrich the library in its quantity and quality. Library is considered as an important part of the college which is the major learning resource center for student and staff. As per the changing time role of library service has changed. Advanced technology has been utilized by the library to provide library service. The number of books has increased rapidly over the years. All this has been facilitated by financial aid from UGC and College funds from time to time. It caters to the academic needs of students and faculty of this College and user groups of other colleges, universities and visitors. The facilities include prescribed text books, reference books, Dictionaries, Encyclopedia, audio and video cassettes and CDs. The library has subscribed National and International level scientific journal, periodical and magazine, Career guidance books and magazine. Local State and National level daily newspaper are also subscribed to regularly
The OPAC and internet (Network Resource Center) and reprographic facilities are also available.
Beside the collection of science literature, we also have books authored by the founder of our college, Late Hon Shri Yashwantrao Chavan and also biographies on him written by different authors. A video film on his life is also available.
There is a separate spacious and well-lit reading room for students, staff and researchers, where daily newspaper are made available.
An additional facility in the library is the book bank for economically backward students which provides books through the student aid fund.
A special facility for physically disabled students is library on call service. We also have INFLIBNET N-List facility The College has computerized process of library with the MKCLs LIBRERIA software.
