The basic purpose behind the establishment of the Boys’ Hostels is to accommodate the needy students who are admitted in various course offered by the College. Since the College is the mentor of the students in their transformation, the College has to look after the facilities the students get on the campus. Another important fact related to the stay of the students in Karad is that many a times the students are from poor and socio-economically backward classes. Therefore, it is not possible for them to occupy a private room on rent basis because the rent of such private rooms is very high and almost beyond their capacities.
With a view to provide hostels and other infrastructural facilities to achieve the goal of enhancing the status of women and harness the potential available for the development of the society at large, as also to bring about gender equity and equal representation of women.
The basic purpose behind the establishment of the Girl’s Hostels is to provide reliable and safe accommodation of the needy students who are admitted in various courses offered by the College. Since the College is the mentor of the students in their transformation, the College has to look after the facilities the students get on the campus.
The hostel is headed by the Hostel Warden, Assistant Wardens and General Monitors. Medical room and first aid facility is available to the students in the hostel. The hostel is provided with a spacious and calm study room for Girl’s academic preparations. A dining hall and mess facilities are provided inside the hostel itself, where healthy and hygienic food is provided. All Girls are promoted for various cultural and sport activities organised at the hostel.
